Job summary

Palmhead Group in Sarawak, Malaysia, is seeking an Operation cum Business Development Manager to drive day-to-day operations and oversee project execution across client, business analysis, and technical teams.

You will identify new business opportunities, lead client engagements, coordinate system requirements, and manage proposals and demonstrations, with a focus on ERP and IT systems.

Diploma or degree in business/IT and at least five years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in operations or business development.
• Strong project management, planning, coordination and follow-up skills.
• Good communication, presentation, negotiation and client relationship management.
• Experience in IT/software or ERP/business systems is an advantage.

Operation cum Business Development Manager

Oversee day-to-day office administration and ensure smooth and efficient business operations.

Manage overall project timelines, meetings, deliverables, follow-ups and coordination between clients, BA and technical team.

Engage with clients to understand their business needs, coordinate system requirements and manage feedback, expectations and project updates.

Identify new business opportunities, potential clients and market needs through research, networking and initial outreach.

Coordinate product demonstrations, presentations, proposals and quotations, with technical support from the Technical Manager/team where required.

Maintain relationships with existing clients, follow up on satisfaction and identify cross-selling, upselling and new system/module opportunities.

Job Requirement

Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Technology, Project Management or related field.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in operations, project management, business development, client servicing or a related role.

Strong project management, planning, coordination and follow-up skills.

Good communication, presentation, negotiation and client relationship management skills.

Experience in an IT/software company, ERP/business systems or plantation/estate industry would be an added advantage.
