Job summary

Kennametal is seeking a Controller for Malaysia and Indonesia to oversee finance planning, reporting, and compliance in collaboration with the accounting manager. This role partners with business leaders across the two countries and drives accurate financial conclusions and strategic insights.

The position requires 8+ years in finance/audit with 3+ in management, strong manufacturing/ERP knowledge, and fluent English. US GAAP and tax experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or related field.
• Minimum 8 years in finance/audit with at least 3 years in management.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing and ERP systems; English fluency required.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of finance and reporting for Malaysia and Indonesia entities.
• Lead finance book closing, tax filing and statutory reporting.
• Act as a key business partner to Malaysia and Indonesia entities and leaders.
• Supervise legal/compliance and monitor day-to-day finance operations.
• Ensure entity compliance with US GAAP and statutory reporting.
• Conduct planning, forecasting and value-added analyses.
• Deliver effective plant controllership across entities.
