Job summary

Ryt Bank is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our data team in Malaysia. You will develop scalable analytics, drive decision support, and mentor junior engineers in a fast-paced, innovation-first environment.

You will work across customer behaviour, product and risk analytics, defining KPIs with stakeholders and turning data into actionable business outcomes through analytical rigor and leadership.

Qualifications

• Domain familiarity with banking or regulated financial environments.
• 3–5 years exposure to SQL and advanced analytical modelling.
• Proven experience using Python for data analysis and automation.
• Hands-on experience with dbt (modeling), Airflow (orchestration), and cloud data warehouses.
• 3–5 years expertise in building sophisticated tools and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Evidence-based influence: translate complex analyses into strategic actions for executives.
• Team management: experience mentoring junior analysts is a plus.

• Complex Problem Solving: translate ambiguous problems into structured analytical domains and insights.
• Strategic Analytics: analyze across domains like customer behavior, unit economics, and risk signals.
• Analytics Strategy: drive standards for data models, metrics, and best practices.
• Define KPIs: partner with senior stakeholders to establish success metrics.
• Drive Action: identify growth opportunities and translate data-backed recommendations into outcomes.
• Delivery & Governance: maintain robust data models and assets for consistent decisions.
• Quality & Reproducibility: ensure outputs are well-governed and production-ready.
• Lead Change: evolve data operating models, tooling, and culture.
• Leadership & Collaboration: work with engineers, data scientists, product managers and business stakeholders.
• Mentorship: elevate standards by mentoring junior analysts.
