Job summary

Chumboon Metal Packaging (Malaysia) Sbd Bhd is seeking a Business Development Executive / Senior Executive to identify and develop new business opportunities, promote tin can and metal packaging products, and build long-term relationships with key customers and partners.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in related fields, strong communication and negotiation skills, and 2–3 years of B2B sales experience; fresh graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Must have a Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or International Business.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• 2–3 years of B2B sales experience will be an advantage.
• Packaging manufacturing background will be an advantage.
• We also welcome fresh graduates.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
• Promote the company's tin can and metal packaging products to new and existing customers.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and business partners.
• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer requirements.
• Generate new sales leads through networking, customer visits, referrals, exhibitions, and market prospecting.
• Arrange customer visits, product presentations, and business meetings.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, costing, and sales-related documentation.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and delivery schedules with customers.
• Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, and Logistics departments to ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Follow up on customer enquiries, quotations, orders, and after-sales services.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and business development plans.
• Participate in trade exhibitions, product launches, and marketing activities when required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
