CPI (Penang) is hiring a Storehand – Overseas Shipment to prepare, handle, and coordinate goods for international shipments. You will ensure items are properly packed, labelled, and documented in line with company procedures and overseas shipping requirements.
Responsibilities include picking, packing, labeling, measuring shipment dimensions, and maintaining accurate records. Reading packing lists and coordinating with shipping teams are essential for on-time overseas shipments.

Pick and prepare goods according to sales orders, delivery orders, packing lists, or shipment instructions.
Check item descriptions, part numbers, quantities, and physical condition before packing.
Pack goods securely and appropriately for international transportation to minimise risk of damage.
Prepare cartons, pallets, crates, and other packaging as required.
Label packages accurately with shipping marks, consignee information, carton numbers, and handling instructions.
Measure and record shipment dimensions, weight, and number of packages.
Assist in preparing packing lists and other shipment-related documentation.
Coordinate with the Logistics/Shipping team regarding shipment schedules and collection arrangements.
Load and unload goods safely during courier, transporter, or freight-forwarder collection.
Ensure overseas shipments are staged and ready according to the required cut-off or collection time.
Maintain accurate stock movement and shipment records.
Report damaged, missing, incorrect, or non-conforming goods immediately to the supervisor.
Maintain cleanliness and proper organisation of the warehouse and shipment preparation area.
Follow FIFO, stock-location, and inventory-control procedures where applicable.
Participate in stock counts and inventory checks when required.
Operate warehouse equipment and material-handling tools safely, where authorised.
Comply with company safety, security, quality, and warehouse procedures.
Perform other warehouse and logistics duties assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
Previous experience in warehouse, store, logistics, packing, or shipping operations is preferred.
Experience handling overseas/export shipments is an advantage.
Able to read and understand packing lists, delivery orders, shipping labels, and basic shipment documentation.
Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills are preferred.
Able to perform physical warehouse duties, including lifting, moving, packing, and arranging goods.
Forklift licence or experience is an advantage.
Willing to work overtime when required to meet shipment deadlines.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
Basic understanding of warehouse and inventory procedures.
