Job summary

Aldo Malaysia is seeking a Store Supervisor to oversee and execute operations at Aldo Queensbay Mall in Penang. You will proactively address customer queries, maintain sales floor standards, manage inventory, and operate the till with accuracy.

Build product knowledge to better assist customers and drive sales while developing loyal shoppers. This role requires a proactive team player capable of thriving in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years retail experience, preferably sports/fashion/lifestyle.
• Motivated team player with cheerful disposition.
• Good communications skills and sales-driven attitude.
• Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Willing to work retail hours, including shifts, holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Proactively follow-up on customer queries & needs.

Achieve the agreed standards on the sales floor, cashier counter and service zone at all time.

General store operations - including visual merchandising, managing inventory, stock take and general house keeping.

Operate the till (handling of cash and credit cards) with the correct procedures, achieving high level of efficiency and accuracy.

Keeping abreast of latest products (or trends in fashion) in order to possess in-depth product knowledge and communicate to customers effectively.

Make use of the product knowledge to suggest products and promote product benefits to customers in order to drive sales.

Develop strong connections with customer to generate loyal customers and repeat transactions.

Any other ad-hoc duties given by Line Manager.

Job Requirement

At least 1-3 year(s) of experience the retail industry, preferably in sports, fashion and/or lifestyle chain stores.

Motivated team player with cheerful disposition and strong desire to achieve.

Possess good communications skills and be sales driven.

Comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to work retail hours. (i.e Shift work, Public Holidays and weekends)
