Fossil Group, Inc. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Store Manager to lead a dynamic team and deliver a superior customer experience while achieving KPI targets.

You will develop employees, communicate effectively with management, ensure floor sets and product placement, and maintain security, inventory accuracy, and operational controls. The role requires willingness to work weekends and holidays and a strong background in retail leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in retail, preferably watches/jewelry/leather.
• Willing to work rotational shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Chinese an added advantage.
• Strong customer service orientation and leadership abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Summary: The Store Manager’s overall responsibility is to lead a radical customer and employee experience that drive Key Performance Indicators (KPI) results that maximize store performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

People: Development & Team Building:

• Recruit, Hire, Promote and Retain top talent.
• Demonstrated ability to set goals that are specific, actionable and based on established KPI’s.
• Consistently building employee knowledge base by engaging in continuous education, role-playing and effective delegation of tasks.

People: Leadership and Communication:

• Communicates successes, opportunities and solutions to Area/District Manager.
• Participates and is fully engaged in Conference Calls & Team Meetings.
• Inspires and motivates others, drive employee engagement.

Product:

• Ensures that all directives for Floor sets and Plan-o-Gram’s (POG) are executed on time
• Knows the best sellers, the required placement and ensures that sales are at or above company performance.
• Imparts product knowledge utilizing tools provided.

Place: Operations:

• Executes effective schedules that take in to account business trends, & sales associate performance to maximize opportunity.
• Maintains neat, clean, and organized total store environment.
• Manages all aspects of Loss Prevention and adheres to external and internal procedures for theft, inventory management and operational controls.

Desired Skills & Experience

The incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in retail industry, preferable in watch, jewelry & leather.
• Willing to work on rotational shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Well groomed and able to communicate well in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Chinese language will be an added advantage.
• A passion for customer service, strong leadership skills.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
