Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a store/inventory associate to maintain storage handling quality and keep stock records accurate. You will supervise receiving, inspection, storage, picking, and transfer of materials to support production and delivery schedules.

Responsibilities include recording inventory movements in Autocount, identifying and locating materials with FIFO, and performing clerical duties within the store department. Collaboration with Quality, Purchasing and management is expected.

Responsibilities

• To ensure the quality of goods are maintained with proper handling of storage.
• To ensure the stocks record are up-to-date and accurate.
• Ensure all transactions are completed within required timeframes.
• Assist and support stores management in running the store successfully.
• Supervise daily receiving, inspection coordination, storage, picking, issuing and transfer of raw materials.
• Supervise transfer of finished goods and packaging components.
• Ensure all inventory movements are recorded accurately and promptly in the inventory system. (Autocount)
• Ensure materials are clearly identified, traceable and stored in the correct location using FIFO or other approved stock-rotation methods.
• Coordinate material supply to Production and finished-goods movement to support production and delivery schedules.
• Monitor damaged, rejected, obsolete and slow-moving stock and coordinate the required action with Quality, Purchasing and management.
• Perform clerical duties in a store department.
• Support inventory checking, updating inventory records, and performing ad hoc tasks as required.
