Job summary

Komark in Malaysia is seeking a Store Keeper to manage material receipt, inspection, and record-keeping for raw materials and finished goods, ensuring timely delivery to production.

The role requires organizing storage, implementing FIFO, and maintaining inspection records, while supporting stock counts and handling non-conforming materials.

Candidates should have at least 1 year in manufacturing or warehouse settings and hold a SPM or equivalent.

Qualifications

• SPM or equivalent qualification required.
• Experience in manufacturing/warehouse is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and record incoming raw materials and finished products.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to production area.
• Inspect and verify materials against documentation.
• Match delivery orders with finished goods before dispatch.
• Organize and store materials by designated locations.
• Maintain FIFO for raw materials.
• Label pallets and allocate storage locations.
• Support stock counting activities.
• Assist with issuing and movement of finished goods.
• Perform initial inspection of incoming materials.
• Maintain incoming material inspection records.
• Ensure materials are inspected and tested per guidelines.
• Manage non-conforming materials and supplier issues.
• Prepare supplier defect reports when necessary.
• Ensure rejected materials are segregated.
• Participate in supplier quality meetings.
• Comply with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FSSC 22000.
• Carry out additional duties as required by management.

Store Keeper – Roles & ResponsibilitiesReceiving & Material Handling

• Receive and record incoming raw materials and finished products from external suppliers and internal departments.
• Ensure the timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods to the production area according to the production schedule.
• Inspect and verify received raw materials against the relevant documentation and specifications.
• Check and match delivery orders with the corresponding finished goods before acceptance or dispatch.
• Organize and store raw materials and finished products systematically according to their designated locations.

Inventory & Warehouse Management

• Implement and maintain the First In, First Out (FIFO) system for raw materials on a daily basis.
• Arrange pallets, ensure proper labelling of materials, and allocate suitable storage locations for incoming materials and finished goods.
• Support the team during raw material and finished goods stock counting activities.
• Assist with the issuance and movement of finished goods in accordance with established procedures.

Incoming Material Control

• Perform initial inspection and verification of incoming raw materials.
• Complete and maintain incoming material inspection records and reports.
• Ensure all incoming materials are inspected and tested in accordance with the established guidelines.
• Manage raw materials that do not meet the required specifications or quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain supplier defect or non-conformance reports when necessary.
• Ensure rejected materials are properly identified, segregated, and controlled to prevent unintended use.
• Participate in meetings or discussions related to supplier quality issues when required.

General Responsibilities

• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

Quality & Other Responsibilities

• Comply with the company’s quality management systems and applicable requirements under ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FSSC 22000, and other relevant standards adopted by the Company.
• Carry out any additional duties or tasks assigned by the HOD or Management as required.
• SPM or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of working experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
