Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Storekeeper/Warehouse Assistant to manage incoming materials, verify documents, and maintain accurate inventory records. The role involves issuing materials, labeling, and adhering to FIFO processes while supporting loading/unloading tasks.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of relevant experience, forklift driving skills, and proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. The position offers standard 5-day work week and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in storekeeping, warehouse, or inventory control preferred.
• Able to speak and write in English/Bahasa Malaysia.
• Forklift/lift truck driving experience required.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Record inventory transactions accurately in SQL system.
• Store and label incoming materials in designated locations; follow FIFO.
• Issue raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables as approved.
• Assist in loading/unloading activities and conduct monthly stock counts.

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase order and delivery document
• Record inventory transaction accurately in SQL system
• Ensure all incoming materials are properly labeled and stored in designated location
• Follow FIFO (First-In-First-Out) inventory practice
• Issue raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables according to approved request
• Assist in loading and unloading activities
• Conduct monthly stock count activities Maintain accurate inventory record and filling system
• Report unsafe condition, accident or damaged goods
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
• Support 5S and housekeeping activities
• Other related duties or ad hoc job responsibilities may assign to you by your immediate superior.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• At least 1 year of experience in a Storekeeper, Warehouse Assistant, or Inventory Control role is preferred.
• Able to speak and write in English / Bahasa Malaysia
• Forklift/lift truck driving experience
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to perform warehouse-related tasks.
