Job summary

KL-Kepong Edible Oils Sdn Bhd in Pasir Gudang, Johor, is looking for a Warehouse/Storekeeper to manage receiving, storage, and issue of materials for food additives, packaging, and chemicals in a GMP/Halal environment. You will verify documents, coordinate with procurement and production, perform regular stock checks, and maintain accurate records in SAP/ERP systems.

Experience in food manufacturing or industrial settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Warehouse Management, Logistics, Supply Chain or equivalent.
• Preferably 2–3 years in store/warehouse operations in food manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Experience handling packaging materials, engineering spare parts or chemicals is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify quantity against PO/DO and documents.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Engineering, QA/QC and others on material requirements.
• Assist in goods receipt and issuing, and maintain SAP/store documentation.
• Perform regular stock checks and monthly inventory stock take.
• Receive, store and issue materials with proper identification and expiry traceability.
• Maintain packaging materials stock and related records.

Key responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify the quantity against Purchase Order (PO), Delivery Order (DO) and other relevant documents.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Engineering, QA/QC, Maintenance and other departments on material requirements and stock matters.
• Assist in Goods Receipt (GR) & Good Issuance (GI), and related SAP/store documentation where applicable.
• Perform regular stock checks & monthly physical inventory stock take.
• Receive, store and issue food additives and chemicals according to approved procedures with proper material identification, batch/lot number and expiry-date traceability.
• Manage receiving of packaging & monitor the condition of packaging materials in packaging store.
• Comply with company requirements relating to Safety, Halal, GMP, FSSC/Food Safety and other applicable procedures.
• Maintain proper filing of DOs, supplies indent, stock card and other store records.
• Support loading/unloading and material movement activities when required.
• Perform any other store, inventory or warehouse-related duties assigned by the superior.

About you

• Diploma in Warehouse Management, Logistics, Supply Chain or equivalent.
• Preferably 2–3 years of experience in store/warehouse operations, particularly in a food manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience handling packaging materials, engineering spare parts or chemicals will be an advantage.
• Experience using SAP or another ERP/inventory system is an advantage.
• Able to understand material codes, stock locations and basic inventory documentation.
