Job summary

Ketton Facility Management Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Store Executive / Supervisor to join our Serendah, Selangor team. This full-time position oversees daily store operations, leads a team, and drives sales while maintaining high service and store standards.

You will report to senior management and play a key role in achieving operational and commercial objectives through effective receiving, stock control and merchandising.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in retail store management or supervision.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Receiving: plan schedules, verify documents, manage shortages and damages.
• Storage: allocate locations by material characteristics and turnover.
• Issuance and dispatch: supervise picking, packing and handovers.
• Inventory control: reconcile stock with system records.
• Stocktakes and variances: conduct counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Replenishment: monitor shortages and set reorder points.
• Safety and housekeeping: keep areas clean and safe.
• Exception management: document issues and drive corrective actions.
• Reporting and improvement: submit inventory and process reports.

About the role

Ketton Facility Management Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Executive / Supervisor to join our team in Serendah, Selangor. This is a full-time position that offers a strategic opportunity to oversee daily store operations, lead a team, and ensure exceptional customer service delivery. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving sales performance, maintaining store standards, and creating a positive shopping environment for our customers. You will report to senior management and play a crucial role in achieving the company's operational and commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Receiving: Plan receiving schedules and manpower; verify documents; segregate shortages, excess deliveries, damage and incorrect items and follow up on resolution. Refer specialist inspections to quality personnel or the designated department.
• Storage: Allocate locations according to material characteristics, weight, turnover and shelf life; maintain clear identification and traceability.
• Issuance and dispatch: Confirm approved requests; supervise picking, quantity checks, packing and handovers; follow up on urgent requirements.
• Inventory control: Ensure transactions are posted promptly; reconcile physical stock with system records and address unposted transactions or negative balances.
• Stocktakes and variances: Arrange cycle counts and full stocktakes; recount exceptions, investigate causes and submit adjustment requests.
• Replenishment: Monitor shortage and replenishment risks; notify purchasing and user departments and help establish minimum stock and reorder points.
• Safety and housekeeping: Keep aisles, exits and equipment areas clear; enforce appropriate protective equipment and material-handling procedures.
• Exception management: Record missing, damaged or incorrectly issued goods and delays; contain the issue and follow corrective actions through to completion.
• Reporting and improvement: Submit inventory and operational reports and improve storage layouts, documentation and work allocation.

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in retail store management or supervision
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff

• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Knowledge of retail operations, merchandising and visual display principles
• Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays as required
• A valid driving licence is advantageous
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Retail Management or related field is preferred
