Job summary

Katrin BJ Sdn Bhd in Subang Jaya, Selangor, invites an experienced Senior Retail Support Executive to bridge head office operations with store execution, ensuring consistent service delivery, compliance, and performance across our retail network.

You will support store managers, monitor performance, manage inventory, train staff, and contribute to promotional campaigns and store standards, while aligning with company-wide initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in retail management, store operations or retail support functions.
• Diploma or degree qualification in Business Management, Retail Management or related field is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive operational support to assigned retail stores, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures and standards.
• Monitor store performance metrics including sales, inventory management, stock accuracy and customer service standards.
• Conduct regular store visits to assess operational compliance, store conditions, visual merchandising and staff performance.
• Support store managers in implementing company strategies, promotional campaigns and new initiatives at store level.
• Identify operational challenges and inefficiencies, working collaboratively with store teams to develop and implement solutions.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and training support to store staff to enhance their skills and performance capabilities.
• Manage inventory control processes, including stock audits, stocktake preparation and reconciliation of discrepancies.
• Assist in the recruitment, onboarding and performance management of retail store personnel.
• Liaise between head office departments and stores to ensure effective communication and timely resolution of issues.
• Prepare reports on store performance, operational issues and recommendations for improvement.
• Support the implementation of visual merchandising standards and store layout optimisation.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of operational documentation, templates and best practice guidelines.

Katrin BJ Sdn Bhd is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Retail Support Executive to join our management team in Subang Jaya, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting the operational excellence and strategic objectives of our retail stores. As Senior Retail Support Executive, you will bridge the gap between head office operations and store-level execution, ensuring consistent service delivery, compliance, and performance across our retail network. This position is integral to driving operational efficiency, staff development, and customer satisfaction whilst maintaining alignment with company-wide initiatives and standards.

Key responsibilities

What we're looking for

• 3-5 years of experience in retail management, store operations or retail support functions
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple retail locations or supporting store operations at scale
• Strong knowledge of retail operations including inventory management, visual merchandising, sales processes and customer service excellence
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to analyse data and performance metrics to drive operational improvements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation
• Leadership capabilities with experience coaching, training and developing retail staff
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify issues and implement practical solutions
• Proficiency in retail management systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance
• Flexibility to travel between stores and undertake occasional weekend or evening work as required
• Diploma or degree qualification in Business Management, Retail Management or related field is advantageous
