Job summary

Hyatt Regency Kinabalu in Malaysia seeks a Stewarding Manager to ensure efficient operation of the Stewarding Department in line with Hyatt's corporate strategies and brand standards, while meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. You will oversee the department's efficient and economical operation and manage the operating equipment inventory through collaboration with other departments.

The role requires 2–3 years in a similar hotel role, a certificate/diploma in Hospitality Management

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP) or relevant certifications.
• 2–3 years in a similar role in the hotel industry.
• Excellent team management and leadership skills; able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and economical operation of the Stewarding Department across all hotel departments.
• Provide services to other operating departments as required.
• Oversee operating equipment inventory and maintenance.
• Align with Hyatt International's corporate strategies and brand standards.
