Job summary

Kaifa Technology (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a results-driven Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams, ensure on-time delivery of prototypes, and drive successful product transfers to production.

You will manage scope, schedule, and costs, report progress to customers, and build strong client relationships while maintaining high product quality and cost control. PMP/PRINCE II is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in project management.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Analytical, problem solving and leadership abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team in achieving project objectives, motivate a cross functional project team and focus on meet and satisfy customers' needs in product quality, delivery and cost.
• Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
• Ensure on time delivery on the prototype samples and success in new Product Transfer to Production.
• Manage changes to the project scope, schedule and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
• Lead the team in New Product Development & Qualification works – Update project plan – Gantt Chart, WBS, product specification and BOM and on time delivery.
• Provide high quality reporting of project status, plan and progress to customer. Present the weekly project update to customers.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Identify and manage project risks. Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Ensure that all projects are deliver on-time, within scope and within budget.
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
