Job summary

Neways Electronics International NV is seeking a Project Manager to lead end-to-end new product introductions and transfers, translating customer requirements into profitable, production-ready solutions while ensuring alignment on quality, cost, and delivery. You will shape the PMO in Malaysia and coordinate across Production, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, and Business Development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in project or program management within a high-tech environment.
• Or: proven track record of at least 2 years of successful performance as a project manager.
• Project and program management certification such as IPMA-C is an advantage; PgM, MSP, MoP, AgilePM or Executive Agile Leadership are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project execution from design/engineering to production.
• Translate customer requirements into clear roadmaps and execution plans.
• Align customer needs with technical feasibility and Neways’ strategic goals.
• Establish the PMO structure for Neways Malaysia.
• Drive cross-functional coordination across Production, Enginering, Quality, Procurement, and Business Development.
• Act as the single point of contact across internal stakeholders.
• Coach and guide multidisciplinary project teams.
• Manage project financials: budget, forecast, reporting, and profitability.
• Oversee risks, issues, and change management using formal PM frameworks.
• Escalate blockers promptly to protect project timelines.
• Engage government authorities to ensure compliance for new project development.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and dashboards for visibility.
