Job summary

Keysight Technologies in Penang, Malaysia seeks a Lead PCA Materials Engineering to strengthen manufacturing and supplier capability across PCA/PCBA technologies. You will provide technical and people leadership to ensure product quality, supply continuity, resiliency, and cost competitiveness.

You will partner with R&D, Product Engineering, Procurement, Production and Quality to translate future product requirements into robust manufacturing and supplier capabilities, and drive digitalization

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials Science or related Engineering.
• Experience in PCA/PCBA manufacturing, Materials Engineering, CM Engineering or supplier quality.
• Understanding of SMT, soldering/reflow, coatings, inspection/test and process qualification.
• Experience leading engineering teams and driving cost, quality and supply continuity.

Responsibilities

• Lead PCA Materials Engineering and develop engineering talent and technical competency.
• Drive PCA/PCB technology capability to support current and future product requirements.
• Manage CM and supplier engineering performance, including qualification and governance.
• Lead quality and technical escalations with RCCA, risk mitigation and continuous improvement.
• Strengthen supply resiliency through alternate materials, suppliers/sites and flexibility.
• Drive value engineering for cost reduction and manufacturing efficiency.
• Champion digitalization and operational excellence to improve productivity.
• Partner with R&D, Product Engineering, Procurement, Production and Quality to deliver objectives.
