Job summary

FOZ One Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project Lead/Engineer to manage customer projects from RFQ to mass production. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery within budget, meeting quality and customer requirements.

Strong collaboration with engineering, production, planning, purchasing, quality and logistics is essential. The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 3+ years in PCBA/EMS, and fluent English with Mandarin as a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in PCBA, EMS, or electronics manufacturing.
• Experience managing customer projects, NPI activities, or program management preferred.
• Basic understanding of SMT/PCBA manufacturing processes and project management.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, BOMs, and product specifications.
• Strong written and spoken English; Mandarin beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer projects from RFQ through NPI to mass production.
• Coordinate RFQ activities and cross-functional teams for quotations.
• Develop and maintain project schedules meeting milestones and requirements.
• Serve as main customer contact and provide regular updates.
• Coordinate Engineering, Production, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, and Logistics.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and resolve issues promptly.
• Support prototype builds, pilot runs, and ramp-up for successful launches.
• Ensure smooth transfer to mass production and provide status reports.
