Job summary
MetaComp is seeking a skilled SRE Engineer to support releases, observability, and production support across cloud environments and web3 tech. You will work with the TechOps Director to deploy, monitor, and optimize platforms while ensuring operational resilience and incident response readiness.
The role emphasizes automation, IaC, security scanning, and zero-downtime deployments, with rotations and English/Mandarin communication across Asia.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT or CS or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in software development or technical support.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across technical systems.
- System admin experience with Linux and/or Windows Server.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL databases and Kubernetes.
- Experience with AWS/OCI cloud deployments and security practices.
- Scripting in PowerShell/Batch and Java proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Automate and manage CI/CD pipelines for releases.
- Operate IaC/configuration management and governance.
- Provide production support and incident triage during outages.
- Develop runbooks and post-mortems; improve support processes.
- Design centralized observability for apps and infrastructure.
- Monitor service health, latency, throughput, and uptime; address anomalies.
