Job summary

Cloud Kinetics is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer/DevOps Lead to design and optimize CI/CD pipelines across hybrid environments. You will automate infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible, manage AWS deployments (containers, RDS, serverless, IAM), and champion SRE practices for high availability and DR.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on infrastructure engineering and DevOps in hybrid environments.
• Strong background in VMware, Linux/Wintel, storage and data centre admin.
• Cloud experience with AWS (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Extensive involvement in CI/CD pipeline development and IaC.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Grafana, Datadog, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry).
• Automation and scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Ability to collaborate with product and engineering teams on deployments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines for deployments.
• Drive automation using Terraform, Ansible, Atlantis across on-prem and cloud.
• Oversee deployments and operations on AWS, including containers, RDS, serverless, IAM, SSO.
• Champion SRE principles: HA, DR, monitoring, and alerting practices.
• Manage and integrate tools like GitLab, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Slack, Grafana, Datadog, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry.
• Ensure security and compliance across deployments per relevant standards.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to drive automation and reliability.
• Provide technical leadership in customer-facing scenarios, especially in financial services.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, release governance, and decision-making frameworks.
• Explore cloud-native and AI-driven innovations to improve DevOps resilience.
