Job summary

Ryt Bank is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to drive DevSecOps strategies and ensure an always-on, secure banking platform. You will implement IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native microservices while aligning with business goals.

You will lead incident response, build observability, and empower teams with self-service capabilities. A strong blend of hands-on technical skills and strategic thinking is expected to deliver reliable, scalable software delivery for Malaysians.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in SRE, DevOps, or equivalent roles.
• Strong cloud experience with AWS/Azure/GCP plus Alibaba Cloud.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
• IaC expert in Terraform/OpenTofu/CloudFormation or similar.
• Design observability solutions using modern stacks.
• Lead incident response and post-mortem processes.
• Proficient in Java or other OO languages.
• Strong containerization and orchestration knowledge.
• Kafka and databases are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of highly available, secure infra using IaC.
• Establish and maintain SLOs/SLIs for reliability.
• Act as incident commander during outages with cross‑functional teams.
• Build and enhance observability for real-time monitoring.
• Develop automation for incident response and disaster recovery.
• Drive DevSecOps platform for safe, rapid deployments.
• Lead FinOps to optimize infrastructure utilization.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote operational excellence.
