Job summary

Experian is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer in Malaysia to build reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud platforms. You will implement IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring, while collaborating with software engineers, data scientists and product managers to ensure smooth deployments and high availability.

You will work in a hybrid setup, focusing on AWS-based workloads, platform security, and performance optimisations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SRE/DevOps or related role.
• Experience managing AWS ECS and EKS clusters.
• Experience with high availability, disaster recovery, monitoring and performance.
• Hands-on IaC tools experience including Terraform and Jenkins.
• 3+ years using data/monitoring insights to improve cloud performance and cost efficiency.
• Strong communication across technical and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions and CI/CD pipelines to support reliable software delivery.
• Implement monitoring and intelligent alerting for products and data pipelines.
• Manage platform security and reliability; troubleshoot incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Improve platform performance, resource utilisation and costs; report progress to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists and product managers to support deployment and operations.
