Job summary

Hilti (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an Engineer to provide technical support and drive sales by collaborating with designers and specifiers. You will help secure specifications for Hilti engineered products, consult on innovative designs, and contribute to smarter, stronger and more sustainable projects with sound engineering judgment.

You will visit engineering and architectural firms, conduct seminars, and support the sales team by converting specifications into orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Engineering from any discipline.
• 5+ years in design of structures/Architecture OR 3-4 years in Sales/BD in engineering.
• Experience working with Structural or Non-structural Designers or Architects preferred.
• Very good communication in English.
• Strong teamwork and commitment.
• Self-motivated to exceed business targets.
• Experience handling large multi-department accounts.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned engineering and architectural firms, offices and projects to identify opportunities to specify Hilti software, services and products.
• Conduct seminars for engineers, architects, and contractors to raise awareness of Hilti applications.
• Contribute to growth via technical project management.
• Focus project specifications of Hilti products; support sales by converting specs into sales; hold project meetings with local sales.
• Provide technical support, training and advice on software, services and products.
• Explain digital technical resources to architects, engineers, customers and sales team.
• Support marketing with development, launch and maintenance of software, services and products.
