Hilti (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Field Engineer (Non-Structural) based in Klang Valley. You’ll provide technical support, drive sales by partnering with designers and specifiers, and help customers build smarter, stronger, and more sustainable projects.

You’ll visit engineering and architectural firms, conduct seminars, and assist the sales team with project specifications and Salesforce communications. English fluency required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• 1–2 years experience in design of structures or sales in engineering.
• Experience with Non-Structural Designers preferred.
• Proficient in English communication.

Responsibilities

Field Engineer (Non-Structural) - Based in Klang Valley

In this role, you’ll provide technical support and drive sales by partnering with designers and specifiers to solve complex challenges using Hilti solutions. You’ll secure commitments for specification or approval of Hilti engineered products, consult on innovative designs, and help customers build smarter, stronger, and more sustainably—while protecting projects with sound engineering judgment. This is where collaboration meets impact, and your expertise shapes the future of construction.

What You’ll Do

Visiting assigned engineering and architectural firms, customer offices and construction projects regularly to identify opportunities to specify and use of Hilti software, services and products.

Conducting seminars for engineers, architects, and contractors to raise awareness and create understanding of all existing and new applications where Hilti products, software, and services are relevant. At the same time, learn about engineers’, architects’, and contractors’ future projects and explore potential business.

Contributing towards the company’s growth and profitability through technical project management.

Taking responsibility for focus project specification of Hilti products, supporting the sales team in their efforts to sell a variety of Hilti solutions. This involves uploading and communicating specifications in Salesforce, working with the sales team to convert those specifications into sales and holding project meetings in conjunction with the local sales team.

Provide technical support, training and advice to engineers, architects, customers and the sales team on all available software, services and products, consistent with the company's objectives and marketing strategy.

Understanding of the digital technical resources and ability to explain their availability and use to our architects, engineers, customers, and sales team

Support marketing team with the development, launch and maintenance of software, services and products.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor or Master of Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil Engineering)

1 – 2 years of experience in design of structures OR 1 – 2 years of Sales/Business Development experience in engineering sector (preferably civil/construction industry)

Experience of working with Non-Structural Designers will be highly preferable

Very good in communication (English is must)

Very good in teamwork and commitment

Persistent and self-motivated to overachieve the business targets
