Job summary

Autism Gym Centre is seeking an experienced Special Need Teacher to join our Kepong Branch on a full-time basis. You will provide high-quality therapy and support services to children with autism and related developmental challenges, collaborating with parents and professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

The role focuses on assessment, personalized therapy planning, and delivering engaging sessions, with ongoing progress tracking and program improvement.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Psychology, Physiotherapy, Childhood Education, Counselling or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage with children, families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to adapt therapy approaches to individual needs.
• Passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children and their families.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to the clinic's success.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and goals of each child.
• Develop and implement personalized therapy plans addressing physical, cognitive, and social-emotional needs.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals for coordinated care.
• Facilitate therapy sessions using play-based activities, sensory integration, and behavioral interventions.
• Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans; maintain detailed records.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of therapy services and programs.

Autism Gym Centre is seeking an experienced and passionate to join our dynamic team in Kepong Branch. As a Special Need Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality therapy and support services to children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental challenges. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients. For facility public transport nearly MRT jinjang Kepong.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the unique needs and goals of each child
• Develop and implement personalized therapy plans to address the physical, cognitive, and social-emotional needs of children
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to each child's care
• Facilitate engaging and enriching therapy sessions, including play-based activities, sensory integration, and behavioural interventions
• Monitor and track the progress of each child, adjusting therapy plans as neededMaintain detailed and accurate records of each child's progress and therapy sessions
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our therapy services and programs

What we're looking for
