Job summary

Autism Gym Centre in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a dedicated Special Needs Teacher to deliver individualized therapeutic interventions that support children's social, communication, behavioural, and daily living skills in a clinical therapy setting.

The role focuses on hands-on intervention and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, families, and therapists, using ABA, play-based therapy, sensory integration, and evidence-based strategies. You will assess progress and adapt plans accordingly.

Qualifications

• Experience with autism or developmental delays is preferred.
• Comfortable delivering therapy-based intervention programmes rather than academic teaching.
• Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills.
• Committed to long-term engagement and growth with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments to identify each child’s needs.
• Design and implement individualized intervention plans.
• Deliver one-to-one and small group therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with therapists and parents for coordinated care.
• Track progress and prepare therapy reports.
• Participate in ongoing training and supervision.
