Job summary

Autism Gym Centre in Malaysia is seeking an energetic Occupational Therapist Manager to lead hands-on interventions for children with autism and developmental needs in a clinical therapy setting.

You will deliver individualised therapy programmes, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and families, and drive continuous development of evidence-based practices to support social, communication, and daily living skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Therapy.
• Experience working with children with autism or developmental delays preferred.
• Expertise implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Comfortable delivering therapy-based intervention programmes rather than academic teaching.
• Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills.
• Commitment to long-term engagement with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental and functional assessments to identify strengths and needs.

• Deliver one-to-one and small group therapy sessions using ABA, play-based therapy, sensory integration, and communication strategies.

• Track progress, prepare therapy reports, and adjust intervention plans as required.

Autism Gym Centre is a specialised early intervention and therapy centre supporting children with autism and developmental needs in ALL Branch IN LEMBAH KLANG, COME JOIN US . We are looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist MANAGER to deliver MANAGING individualised therapeutic interventions that support children's social, communication, behavioural, and functional development in a clinical, therapy-based setting.

This role focuses on hands-on intervention and developmental support, working closely with children, families, and a multidisciplinary therapy team.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct developmental and functional assessments to identify each child’s strengths and needs

Conduct occupational therapy assessments & evaluations.

Deliver one-to-one and small group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches such as ABA principles, play-based therapy, sensory integration, and communication strategies

Support children’s development in areas including behaviour regulation, communication, motor skills, and daily living skills

Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech therapists, behaviour therapists, and parents to ensure a coordinated intervention approach
