Job summary

Autism Gym Centre in Malaysia offers hands-on therapy-based intervention for children with autism. We are hiring a dedicated Special Needs Teacher to deliver individualized interventions in a clinical setting, focusing on social, communication, behavioural, and daily living skills.

The role involves assessments, designing intervention plans, and delivering one-to-one and small group sessions using ABA, play-based therapy, and sensory integration, with collaboration from therapists and families

Qualifications

Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills.
Experience working with children with autism or developmental delays preferred.
Comfortable delivering therapy-based intervention programmes rather than academic teaching.

Responsibilities

Conduct developmental assessments to identify each child’s strengths and needs.
Design and implement individualized intervention plans based on therapeutic goals.
Deliver one-to-one and small group therapy sessions using ABA, play-based therapy, sensory integration, and communication strategies.
Collaborate with therapists and parents to ensure a coordinated intervention approach.
Track progress and adjust intervention plans as required.
Participate in ongoing training and supervision to maintain best practices.
