Job summary

Eurotech Wheel Distribution Sdn Bhd in Kedah, Malaysia, seeks a proactive Spare Parts Manager / Assistant Spare Parts Manager to lead our motorcycle spare-parts operations. You will manage purchasing, inventory, and warehouse control while supporting dealers and internal teams.

Responsibilities include planning stock levels, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining pricing structures to maximize profitability and service levels. A diploma/degree in related fields is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in business admin, automotive, supply chain, logistics.
• Experience in motorcycle or automotive spare-parts operations is an advantage.
• Experience in inventory management, purchasing, warehouse operations, or parts sales.
• Good knowledge of motorcycle spare parts and parts identification.
• Proficient with ERP/inventory/accounting systems and Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily spare-parts operations including purchasing, inventory, and warehouse control.
• Plan stock levels based on sales and dealer requirements.
• Monitor stock movement and ensure availability of fast-moving and critical parts.
• Coordinate with principals, suppliers, and overseas sources for purchasing.
• Lead dealer support and provide timely parts supply.
• Maintain pricing structures in line with company policy.
• Conduct regular stock checks and investigate variances.
• Train and supervise spare-parts/warehouse staff.
• Prepare reports on sales, stock value, turnover, and outstanding orders.
• Ensure documentation and SOP compliance.

SPARE PARTS MANAGER / ASSISTANT SPARE PARTS MANAGER

The Spare Parts Manager / Assistant Spare Parts Manager is responsible for managing the company's motorcycle spare-parts operations, including inventory planning, purchasing, warehouse control, sales support, dealer management, and parts availability.

Key responsibilities

Manage daily operations of the spare-parts department, including purchasing, inventory, warehouse, sales, anddistribution.

Plan and maintainappropriatespare-parts stocklevels according to salesvolume, dealer requirements, and motorcycle models.

Monitorstock movement andensure sufficient availability of fast-movingand critical parts.

Prepare and monitorparts purchasing and replenishment fromprincipals, suppliers,or overseas sources.

Coordinate with suppliers/principals regardingorders, delivery schedules, product availability,pricing, and newparts.

Manage the spare-parts warehouse to ensure proper receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching procedures.

Monitorslow-moving, non-moving, excess, andobsolete stockand propose appropriateactions.

Workclosely with theSales, Service/After-Sales, Finance, andWarehouse teamsto ensure smoothparts operations.

Support motorcycle dealers/workshopsby ensuring timelysupply of requiredspare parts.

Handle dealer enquiriesregardingparts availability, pricing, ordering, delivery, andproduct information.

Monitor spare-partssales performance andprepare regular reportsonsales, stock value, inventory turnover, andoutstanding orders.

Develop and maintain an effectiveparts pricing and margin structurein accordance withcompany policy.

Monitor stock accuracy and conduct regular stock checks/stock takes.

Investigate discrepanciesbetweenphysical stock andsystem stockand take correctiveaction.

Establish and improve inventory-control procedures tominimize stock shortagesand excess inventory.

Lead, supervise, and train spare-parts/warehouse staff whereapplicable.

Ensure proper documentationand compliance with company SOPs.

Identifyopportunities to improveparts sales, customer service, inventory efficiency, and department profitability.

Perform other duties related to spare-partsoperations as assignedby management.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree inBusiness Administration,Automotive, Supply Chain, Logistics, or arelated field.

Experience inmotorcycle or automotivespare-parts operationsis an advantage.

Experience ininventory management, purchasing, warehouse operations,or parts sales.

Good knowledge of motorcycle spare parts andparts identification ispreferred.

Good understanding ofstock control, inventoryturnover, and purchasingprocedures.

Computer literate andcomfortable usingERP/inventory/accountingsystems and MicrosoftExcel.
