Job summary

Blueberry Markets Group in Kuala Lumpur seeks a commercially driven Business Development Manager for the Partnerships team. You will identify new opportunities, acquire and activate partners, and build a sustainable pipeline to support Southeast Asia growth.

You'll manage the full business development lifecycle from prospecting and initial engagement through onboarding, activation, and ongoing relationship management, turning opportunities into measurable results.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, sales, partnerships or related commercial roles.
• Proficient in English with strong communication skills.
• Understanding of Southeast Asian markets and regional business practices.
• Ability to identify, develop, and convert opportunities.
• Experience managing long-term client or partner relationships.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Data-driven with CRM experience to manage pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Southeast Asian markets.
• Acquire and activate partners; manage onboarding and activation.
• Build and maintain a strong partner pipeline aligned with regional growth.
• Manage the partner acquisition journey from engagement to activation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve partner concerns and deliver value.
• Maintain CRM records and provide regular sales activity updates.
• Monitor pipeline performance and target acquisition and revenue goals.
• Represent Blueberry across business networks and events.
