Job summary

Dahua Precision Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a seasoned Purchasing professional to lead supplier selection, manage purchase orders, and optimise costs across machining, stamping, and die-casting processes. You will build strong supplier relationships and oversee delivery schedules to ensure materials and equipment are available when needed.

The role requires Mandarin and English communication, leadership and cross‑functional coordination, and solid knowledge of procurement practices.

Qualifications

• Strong Mandarin and English communication; proficiency in Mandarin for Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• More than 5 years of purchasing experience in mechanical processing and die-casting industries.
• Familiar with production processes and cost accounting of related products.
• Able to communicate in English and write fluently; strong cross-departmental coordination.
• Good professional ethics and teamwork with strong execution ability.

Responsibilities

• Perform supplier research and selection to enhance profitability, reducing operating costs and boosting efficiency.
• Maintain cordial relationships with suppliers and supervise vendor activities.
• Review, compare, analyze products and services to be purchased.
• Manage purchase orders, oversee delivery schedules, maintain purchase records.
• Maintain supplier information such as qualification, delivery times, and product ranges.
• Negotiate contracts and payment terms with the suppliers.
• Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
• Prepare budget, cost analysis and report.
• Responsible for finding suitable supplier resources, supplier assessment and introduction work
• Mainly responsible for the development of suppliers such as machining, stamping, surface treatment, die casting, etc., sample stage inquiry and delivery tracking
• Assist purchasing engineers to deal with abnormal incoming materials from suppliers
• Daily supplier management work
• Cooperate with the company’s overtime responsibilities according to the needs.
• Perform other duties and responsibility as assigned by superior from time to time.

Reviewing, comparing, analyzing products and services to be purchased.

Job Requirement

Strong oral and written communication skills in Mandarin & English. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in Microsoft

Knowledge in Purchasing practices.

More than 5 years of experience in purchasing in the mechanical processing and die-casting industry.

Familiar with the production process and cost accounting of related products such as machining, stamping parts, die-casting, surface treatment, etc.

Proficient in office software, able to communicate normally in English and write fluently, with strong cross-departmental communication and coordination skills.

Have good professional ethics and teamwork spirit and have strong execution ability.
