Job summary

Kien Seng Engineering & Trading Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Technical Sales & Business Development role focused on Palm Oil Mill machinery and industrial equipment. The position requires developing new business, meeting clients, and delivering tailored technical solutions.

Travel locally and overseas for client meetings, site visits, and project closures. Fresh graduates are welcome; drive to Kapar, Klang is needed, with frequent site work and international representation.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Business, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of Palm Oil Mill processes, machinery, and industrial equipment.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Experience in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or Project Management within Palm Oil Mill or industrial machinery is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD / SolidWorks and ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Possess a valid driving license and own transport.
• Willing to travel frequently for local and overseas site work, client meetings, and business development.
• Professional demeanor with ability to represent the company internationally.
• Move to Kapar, Klang; commute to both locations.

Responsibilities

• Technical Sales & Business Development: identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in Palm Oil Mill, heavy machinery, and industrial equipment sectors.
• Travel locally and internationally to meet clients, conduct sales presentations, site visits, and close deals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential global clients.
• Understand client requirements and provide suitable technical solutions for Palm Oil Mill machinery and systems.
• Prepare and present technical sales proposals, quotations, tenders, and engineering documents.
• Design, develop, and propose improvements to Palm Oil Mill machinery and systems where required.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Production teams to ensure project requirements are understood and fulfilled.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, production teams, and clients during project execution.
• Support project execution, including fabrication, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct site visits and provide technical support to customers.
• Provide technical advice and product knowledge to sales team and customers.
• Monitor project progress, timelines, and cost control in project execution.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and provide regular sales and project reports to management.
