Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a hands-on Mechanical Technician to join our technical support team. You will install, maintain, and repair palm oil processing machinery at customer sites nationwide, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum performance.

You will travel across Malaysia for installations, maintenance, and emergency repairs, documenting service reports and keeping maintenance logs up to date. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply with a Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related

We are seeking a hands-on, problem-solving Mechanical Technician to join our technical support team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing our specialized palm oil processing machinery at customer sites nationwide. You will act as the face of our technical services, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Perform on-site installation, commissioning, scheduled maintenance, and emergency repairs for palm oil machinery.

Troubleshoot mechanical failures, diagnose root causes, and implement durable solutions in high-demand mill environments.

Travel frequently to client locations across Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia (Sabah & Sarawak) as required.

Conduct operational tests and provide basic technical guidance to plant operators at client sites.

Document service reports, maintenance logs, and spare part requirements accurately after every job.

Requirements

Proven hands-on experience in mechanical repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting (experience with heavy industrial machinery or palm oil mill equipment is highly preferred).

Possess a valid Malaysian Driver's License (Class D); owning a reliable vehicle is an added advantage.

High willingness to travel extensively across Malaysia on short notice.

Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent trade qualification. Fresh Grad is welcome to apply

Strong physical stamina and comfort working in industrial mill conditions.
