Job summary

AQ Energy (Max Bell Sdn Bhd) in Malaysia is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to manage sales leads, assess customers’ energy needs, and propose solar solutions to close deals.

You will follow up with leads via WhatsApp, calls, and in-person meetings; prepare quotations and proposals; collaborate with engineering and finance teams; and maintain CRM records to track progress and drive revenue.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in sales, business development, customer service, or related field is preferred.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Manage and follow up with assigned leads through WhatsApp, phone calls, and face-to-face meetings to generate interest and convert leads into sales.
• Understand customers’ energy requirements and recommend suitable solar products, systems, and packages based on their needs.
• Prepare accurate and professional sales quotations, project proposals, and basic project cost estimates.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to encourage repeat business, referrals, and long-term engagement.
• Work closely with the Engineering, Administration, and Finance teams to ensure smooth project handovers and execution.
• Conduct site visits and face-to-face customer meetings when required to understand customer requirements and support the sales closing process.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales trackers, customer databases, CRM records, and sales reports.
• Perform any other sales-related duties and responsibilities assigned by Management.
