Job summary

Tenaga Solar Jaya Borneo Sdn Bhd is seeking a Sales Consultant in Malaysia's Sarawak region to generate and follow up on leads, identify customers' energy needs, and recommend suitable solar PV solutions. The role includes consultations, site visits, and presenting quotations to secure projects.

You will explain system benefits and terms, negotiate to close sales, and coordinate with technical, project, and admin teams for smooth handovers. Mandarin speaker preferred.

Qualifications

• Maintain accurate customer and sales records
• Participate in marketing activities to generate new leads
• Mandarin speaker preferred

Responsibilities

• Generate and follow up on leads to achieve monthly and annual sales targets
• Identify customers' energy needs and recommend suitable solar PV solutions
• Conduct customer consultations, site visits, and basic site assessments
• Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and solar packages
• Explain system benefits, estimated savings, installation process, payment terms, and relevant solar programmes
• Negotiate and close sales while following company pricing and approval guidelines
• Maintain good relationships with customers from initial enquiry through project completion
• Coordinate with technical, project, installation, and administrative teams for smooth project handover
• Assist customers with required documents and solar application processes
• Monitor sales, customer payments, project progress, and follow-up activities
