Job summary

AQ Energy (Max Bell Sdn Bhd) is expanding its solar sales team in Malaysia. We are seeking a motivated Solar Sales Executive to manage leads, understand energy needs, and tailor solar solutions for customers.

You will prepare quotations and proposals while building strong customer relationships and guiding sales interns through the process. The role requires strong communication, basic solar knowledge, and the ability to work with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth project handovers.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of working experience in sales, business development, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers confidently.
• Ability to prepare quotations, proposals, and basic project costing.
• Basic understanding of solar products, solar PV systems, and technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage and follow up with assigned leads through WhatsApp, phone calls, and face-to-face meetings to generate interest and convert leads into sales.
• Understand customers’ energy requirements and recommend suitable solar products, systems, and packages based on their needs.
• Prepare accurate and professional sales quotations, Project proposals, and basic project cost estimates.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with new and existing customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Guide, coach, and support sales interns in lead management, customer communication, and sales activities.
• Explain basic solar technology, system benefits, and pricing structures to customers clearly.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Administration, and Finance teams to ensure smooth project handovers.
• Conduct site visits and face-to-face customer meetings as required to understand requirements and assist closing.
• Consistently achieve or exceed individual monthly and quarterly sales targets (KPIs).
• Maintain accurate sales trackers, customer databases, CRM records, and sales progress reports.
