Job summary

AQ Energy (Max Bell Sdn Bhd) is seeking a motivated Solar Sales Executive to manage leads, assess customers’ energy needs, and recommend solar solutions. You will prepare quotations, proposals, and cost estimates while building strong customer relationships and guiding sales interns.

Collaborate with Engineering, Administration, and Finance to ensure smooth handovers and successful project execution, with multiple locations across Penang, Johor, and Selangor.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Renewable Energy or related field.
• 0–3 years of working experience in sales, business development, customer service, or related field preferred.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers confidently.
• Basic sales, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to prepare quotations, proposals, and basic project costing.
• Basic understanding of solar products, PV systems, and technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales leads and understand customers’ energy needs.
• Recommend suitable solar products, systems, and packages.
• Prepare accurate sales quotations, proposals, and basic cost estimates.
• Build and maintain relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Coach and support sales interns in lead management and communication.
• Explain solar technology and pricing structures clearly to customers.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Administration, and Finance for smooth handovers.
• Conduct site visits and face-to-face meetings when required to support closing.
• Consistently achieve individual monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Maintain up-to-date sales trackers, CRM records, and progress reports.
