Job summary

SOLARWORKS ENERGY SDN BHD is seeking a technical sales professional to identify new business opportunities in renewable energy, analyze energy data, and coordinate with engineering teams to design solar and energy storage solutions. You will prepare proposals and ROI models, and present to senior executives.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in engineering or related fields, willingness to travel, and strong MS Office skills; AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering or a related field.
• Fresh graduates welcome to apply.
• Willing to travel (own transport preferred).
• Sales experience is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or project management tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities and understand clients' technical, operational, and commercial requirements.
• Review and analyze prospect electricity bills, interval data, consumption patterns, and tariff structures to identify savings potential.
• Conduct or coordinate on-site technical assessments to evaluate roof integrity, shading, orientation, and electrical interconnection feasibility.
• Work closely with the internal engineering team to propose optimum system capacities, select tier-1 equipment, and determine layouts.
• Prepare comprehensive technical proposals, accurate quotations, ROI models, and projected payback calculations.
• Present solutions directly to C-level executives and support commercial contract negotiations or tender bids.
• Ensure all agreed technical configurations and client parameters are clearly documented and handed over to the Project Execution team.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and achieve agreed-upon quarterly and annual sales targets.
