Job summary

Exact, Ipoh-based software company, is seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer to join our growing cloud-focused team. You will own quality and reliability of our applications, design test plans, and drive automation in SCRUM projects.

You have a Bachelor's in CS/IT, 4+ years of testing experience, and strong English communication. Hybrid work model, health benefits, and continuous learning opportunities await.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of software testing and quality engineering experience.
• Strong experience in test design techniques and testing methodologies.
• Experience in test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, MSTest, SpecFlow, Gherkin).
• Exposure to automation scripting or development (e.g. C#) is an advantage.
• Familiar with Agile/SCRUM.

• Take ownership of the quality and reliability of our cloud-based applications
• Design, develop, and execute test plans based on user stories and product requirements
• Perform functional, regression, and load testing to ensure high-quality releases
• Build and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts
• Collaborate closely with developers and cross-functional teams in a SCRUM environment
• Continuously improve testing approaches, tools, and engineering practices
• This role is fully based in Ipoh

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in software testing and quality engineering
• Strong experience in test design techniques and testing methodologies
• Experience in test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, MSTest, SpecFlow, Gherkin)
• Exposure to automation scripting or development (e.g. C#) is an advantage
• Familiar with Agile ways of working (SCRUM)
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills in English
