Job summary

Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to ensure quality, reliability and performance of applications through manual testing across web and mobile. You will review requirements, design test cases, execute functional, integration, regression, and non-functional testing, and report status to stakeholders.

Onsite permanent role; experience with Jira/Trello and Agile environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of software testing principles and QA methodologies.
• Experience in manual testing for web and/or mobile applications (Black-box & White-box).
• Ability to write clear and structured test cases and bug reports.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Browser DevTools (basic level).
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Attention to detail and strong sense of product quality.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Review product requirements, specifications, and designs to define test scope and objectives.
• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for web and/or mobile applications.

• Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking tools such as Jira or Trello.
• Verify bug fixes and ensure issues are resolved before release.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Project Managers, and Designers to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Follow defined QA processes and standards during all testing activities.
• Prepare test reports and provide clear testing status updates to stakeholders.
