Job summary

Exact Asia Development Centre Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Software Quality Engineer (Test Automation & Manual Testing) to ensure the quality of our cloud solutions. As a SCRUM team member, you will interpret product specifications and develop test designs to perform functional and load testing.

You will build and maintain an automation framework, create automation scripts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Qualifications

• Background in development or experience in test automation such as coded UI in C#.
• Experience with automation testing tools (MSTest, Selenium WebDriver, SpecFlow, Gherkin).
• Agile adaptability and willingness to improve processes.
• At least four years of experience in various test design techniques.
• Strong analytical thinking and English communication skills.

As a SCRUM team member, you assure the quality of our innovative cloud solutions, based on so-called user stories, you interpret the product specifications and develop comprehensive test design/plan to perform functional and load testing. You also

• Involve in design and maintain an automation framework for application functional and regression testing;
• Involve in the building of automation script;
• Work together with other teams in order to deliver goals and objectives with the high quality of the team.

You will be joining a SCRUM team in the Technology Department which consist of friendly, helpful and enthusiastic group of people from diversified background and gender. They are known for software development by using best practices and structured framework. Asking for help if necessary and offering help if possible is part of their DNA.

Our developers are always looking for ways to improve the products. They continuously building and innovating. The annual 48-hour hackathon always results in the development of new ideas and clearly demonstrates the importance of team spirit when building software.

With us, you can be yourself, and we would love to discover what sets you apart. For the position of Quality Engineer, it’s helpful if you have strong analytical thinking skills and preferably good English communication skills. What’s more, you bring:

• Background in development or experience in test automation such as coded UI in C#
• Automation testing tool (e.g. MSTest, Selenium webdriver, specflow, Gherkin );
• Agile adaptability; you love the Agile way of working, know when to challenge existing processes, propose improvements;
• Have empathy while being a bit of a rebel personality;
• Are inquisitive (spotter, finder, discoverer); willing to learn, grow and share what has been learned;
• A minimum of four years’ experience in different kinds of test design techniques and test methods;
• The drive to contribute to the highest level of quality;
• Evaluate situations both from a high-level perspective as well as in detail.
