Job summary

Cobble - Van de Wiele Limited is seeking a Mid/Senior Quality Assurance Engineer in Kuala Lumpur to design, build and maintain automated test suites for our IT products. The role involves developing automation frameworks with Playwright or similar tools, writing API and integration tests for microservices, and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines for fast feedback.

You will own test coverage for critical end-to-end flows, contribute to test strategy, and collaborate with engineers and product

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Software Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience in test automation (UI + API + integration).
• Experience with Playwright (preferred), Cypress, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
• Experience testing Angular frontends and distributed system architectures.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test integration in Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Experience working with integration-heavy systems and end-to-end workflows.
• Ability to contribute to test strategy and quality design discussions, not just execution.
• Strong debugging skills across services, APIs, and data layers.
• Good understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL) for validation and test setup.
• Experience in MES, industrial, or enterprise platforms is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving mindset.
• Comfortable working in international, and cross-functional agile teams.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Self-driven, proactive, and quality-focused.
• Agile mindset with a strong bias toward continuous improvement.
