Job summary

Exact is expanding its Ipoh hub and building an engineering team to support business growth. You will own the quality and performance of deliverables, design scalable applications, and work within a SCRUM team using PHP, Symfony, React, Vue, and TypeScript on Azure/AWS.

We expect 4+ years hands-on PHP development, strong knowledge of SOLID principles, unit testing, and Agile practices. Hybrid working is available, and you will be based in Ipoh with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 4+ years hands-on PHP development.
• Strong PHP (Symfony), React, Vue, TypeScript, and SQL experience.
• Solid understanding of design principles (SOLID), design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with unit testing ( PHPUnit ).
• Familiarity with Agile ways of working (SCRUM/Kanban).
• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience in PHP development
• Strong experience in PHP (Symfony), React, Vue, TypeScript, and SQL
• Solid understanding of design principles (SOLID), design patterns, and best practices
• Experience with unit testing (e.g. PHPUnit)
• Familiarity with Agile ways of working (SCRUM/Kanban)
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a sense of ownership
• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure or AWS
• Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps practices, or Docker
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of performance optimization and monitoring tools
