Job summary

Corebase Technologies is seeking a QA Automation engineer based in Puchong, Selangor, Malaysia. The role focuses on automation, API testing, and performance testing across SaaS and white-label products.

Responsibilities include designing testing strategies, building automation frameworks, API and integration testing, and mentoring junior QA engineers. Collaboration with product and engineering teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA).
• Hands-on API testing with Postman.
• Experience building test automation frameworks using Selenium and/or Cypress.
• Experience conducting performance, load, and stress testing using JMeter.
• Familiarity with modern web application testing practices.

We are looking for a quality-driven QA professional who is passionate about automation, performance testing, and ensuring exceptional user experiences.

Design and execute comprehensive testing strategies across multiple SaaS and white-label products

Build and maintain automated testing frameworks and test scripts

Perform API testing and integration testing

Conduct performance, load, and stress testing to identify bottlenecks

Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and quality documentation

Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, Frontend Engineers, and Backend Engineers

Identify, reproduce, document, and track software defects

Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and release testing

Drive continuous improvements in QA processes and product quality

Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to quality best practices

Requirements:-

Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA)

Hands-on experience with API Testing using Postman

Experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks using Selenium and/or Cypress

Experience conducting performance, load, and stress testing using JMeter

Familiarity with modern web application testing practices

Strong understanding of test planning, test case design, defect management, and release testing

Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments

Familiarity with MongoDB and MySQL databases

Ability to perform data validation using SQL queries

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Preferably :-

Experience testing SaaS or multi-tenant platforms

Experience testing RESTful APIs and third-party integrations

Previous experience mentoring junior QA engineers
