Job summary

Molicc System Sdn Bhd in Batang Kali is seeking a skilled web developer to own and advance two in-house systems, guided by AI agents, review their work, and keep production safe. You will turn staff feedback into clear tasks, assign work to AI coding agents, review pull requests, manage migrations and deployments, and work with staff across sales, purchasing, warehouse, logistics and HR to ensure reliable, scalable software.

Strong TS/React/Next.js and PostgreSQL experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of professional web development experience.
• Strong TypeScript, React and Next.js.
• Solid PostgreSQL: schema design, SQL, migrations, indexes.
• Comfortable with Git, GitHub pull requests, GitHub Actions and hosting platforms.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding tools and a clear view on when not to trust outputs.
• Clear written and spoken English; Malay and/or Chinese is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day development of both systems end to end, from staff feedback to a shipped, verified change.
• Turn staff feedback and requests into clear, scoped tasks with acceptance criteria.
• Assign work to AI coding agents, review their pull requests, and decide what is ready to merge.
• Review and apply database migrations safely on production (PostgreSQL / Supabase), including row-level security policies.
• Keep CI green, watch deployments, and investigate errors and failed jobs.
• Work directly with staff in sales, purchasing, warehouse, logistics and HR to understand their workflows and confirm fixes.
• Keep documentation, UI standards and architecture decisions up to date in the repositories.
• Propose improvements to reliability, performance, monitoring and automation.

Job description

Molicc runs two in-house web systems. The Operations System (OPS) covers purchasing, goods receiving, incoming QC, warehouse, driver jobs, sales orders and Odoo sync. The Talent System covers HR, scheduling, leave, timesheets, KPI and helpdesk. Much of the day-to-day coding is done by AI coding agents. You will own both systems: decide what gets built, direct the AI agents, review their work, and keep production safe. You will take over most of the technical work the director does today, so he can focus on running operations.

Key responsibilities

About you

3 to 5 years of professional web development experience

Strong TypeScript, React and Next.js

Solid PostgreSQL: schema design, SQL, migrations, indexes. Supabase and row-level security experience is a strong plus

Comfortable with Git, GitHub pull requests, GitHub Actions and Vercel (or similar CI/CD and hosting)

Hands-on experience using AI coding tools (for example Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot) and a clear view on when not to trust their output

Good judgement when reviewing code: you look for permission gaps, data risks, and fixes that only hide the symptom

Clear written and spoken English. Malay and/or Chinese is a strong plus, since staff use all three

Fundamental System Architecture knowledge is preferred

Experience with ERP, warehouse, manufacturing or HR systems

Odoo, WhatsApp Business API, or other third‑party integrations
