Job summary

FMT Media Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Social Media Executive to manage and grow the company’s presence across Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok.

You will plan, create and publish content, analyse metrics, and coordinate campaigns while staying up to date with trends and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Digital Marketing, Mass Communications, Public Relations or a related field.
• Expert in social media platforms (Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok).
• Proficient in Meta Business Suite, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Studio and content editing tools.

Responsibilities

• Source, curate, and schedule engaging and relevant content for social media platforms to maintain an active and compelling online presence.
• Manage and oversee social media accounts, ensuring brand consistency, up-to-date content, and positive user engagement.
• Analyse social media metrics and market trends to optimise strategies and campaigns across platforms like Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, etc.
• Generate, edit, and publish content (text, images, reels, infographics) and ensure best practices are followed.
• Stay current with social media trends, digital marketing tools, and performance metrics, using business intelligence tools for actionable insights.
• Support operations, coordinating schedules, tasks, and stakeholder engagement.
• Plan and execute targeted boosting campaigns to amplify content reach, engagement, and conversions.

Job description

As a Social Media Executive, you will play a key role in managing and growing FMT's presence across social media platforms. Your ability to create engaging content, manage digital campaigns, analyse performance and audience trends, and drive engagement will be key to strengthening FMT's digital presence.

Key responsibilities

Source, curate, and schedule engaging and relevant content for social media platforms to maintain an active and compelling online presence.

Manage and oversee social media accounts, ensuring brand consistency, up-to-date content, and positive user engagement.

Analyse social media metrics and market trends to optimise strategies and campaigns across platforms like Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, etc.

Stay current with social media trends, digital marketing tools, and performance metrics, using business intelligence tools for actionable insights.

About you

Bachelor's degree in Business, Digital Marketing, Mass Communications, Public Relations or a related field.

Expert in social media platforms (Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok).

Proficient in Meta Business Suite, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Studio and content editing tools (Adobe Creative Tools, CapCut, Canva).

Preferably familiar with digital media platforms and emerging trends.
