Job summary

Pegaunihan Technology Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. in Johor is seeking an SMT Technician to maintain on-site SMT equipment, set reflow oven temperatures, and keep the production line running smoothly in a high‑tech electronics environment.

Requirements include a diploma or degree in Electronic or Industrial Engineering, 1+ year of relevant experience, knowledge of SPI/NPM/AOI, Office tools, and IPC standards; Mandarin proficiency is a plus for Taiwan collaboration, with meal subsidies and rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of relevant SMT experience.
• Experience in process improvement preferred.
• Background in electronic products is advantageous.
• Proficient in Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Maintain the SMT on-site printing machine.
• Set and adjust the temperature of the reflow oven.
• Maintain the sfisflow application and develop SOPs for job specifications.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and annual quality reports.

Work Experience

More than 1 year of relevant experience

Experience in process improvement is preferred

Education Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or any related fields

Language Requirements

Professional working proficiency in Mandarin is advantage (to communicate with colleagues from Taiwan)

Job Description

Responsible for maintaining the SMT on-site printing machine, setting and adjusting the temperature of the reflow oven

Responsible for maintaining the SMT product system's sfisflow application and developing SOP for job specifications

Responsible for SMT quality control, organizing weekly, monthly, and annual quality reports

Other Requirements

Proficient in Office software [Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook]

Familiar with SMT equipment, such as SPI, NPM, reflow ovens, and AOI

Knowledgeable in SMT troubleshooting, process control, and quality improvement tools

Familiarity with IPC (International Electronics Industry Connectivity Council) standards; strong problem-solving and communication skills are preferred

Have good communication skills, ability to analyze and solve problems, and be able to withstand a certain amount of work pressure

Comply with company regulations and work a flexible schedule, including day and night shift rotations
