Job summary

Private Advertiser seeks an SMT Engineering Manager to lead our SMT/PCBA operations within a global EMS context. You will drive process optimization, lead a team of engineers and technicians, and collaborate with international engineering groups to deliver high-quality, high-volume electronics production.

The role requires 8–12 years in SMT/PCBA manufacturing, strong expertise in AOI/AXI, PFMEA/DOE, and hands-on experience with major SMT platforms.

Qualifications

8–12 years of SMT/PCBA manufacturing experience.
Strong SMT process expertise and hardware knowledge.
Experience with NPI in high-volume EMS environments.
Proven leadership of engineers and technicians.
Experience collaborating with international teams.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of process engineers and technicians.
Develop and implement strategies to optimise manufacturing processes and reduce costs.
Oversee SMT line maintenance and troubleshooting (mechanical, electrical, software).
Drive process optimisation, yield improvement and automation initiatives.
Oversee end-to-end PCBA processes to meet production and customer specs.
Collaborate with international engineering teams on projects and equipment strategies.
