Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Master's degree or MBA is an advantage.
• 10–12 years of progressive engineering experience in high-volume electronics EMS or PCBA.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience leading engineering teams.
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar CAPEX budgets and ROI justifications.
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001, ISO 9001, IATF 16949 or ISO 13485.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, SPC and MES.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop Manufacturing, Process and NPI Engineering teams; establish KPIs and standardise engineering processes.
• Develop and manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets; evaluate advanced manufacturing equipment and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Oversee end-to-end NPI process from prototype to mass production; manage technical escalations and technology transfers.
• Drive plant-wide yield improvement, root-cause analysis and PFMEA to ensure reliability and quality.

Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager (MNC)

Our client is an established electronics manufacturing services (EMS) company specialising in contract manufacturing.

They are seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead their Manufacturing and Process Engineering departments, drive operational excellence and support advanced manufacturing capabilities.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor and develop Manufacturing, Process and NPI Engineering teams. Establish departmental KPIs and standardise engineering processes across production lines and business units.

Develop and manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets. Evaluate and implement advanced manufacturing equipment, automation and Industry 4.0 initiatives to improve productivity and traceability.

Oversee the end-to-end NPI process from prototype builds to mass production. Serve as the senior technical contact for global customers, managing technical escalations, engineering changes, DFM discussions and technology transfers.

Drive plant-wide yield improvement initiatives, root-cause analysis and corrective actions. Oversee PFMEA and control plans to ensure process reliability and manufacturing quality.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Manufacturing Engineering. A Master's Degree or MBA is an advantage.

Minimum 10–12 years of progressive engineering experience within a high-volume electronics manufacturing, EMS or PCBA environment.

At least 5 years of managerial experience leading engineering teams.

Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar CAPEX budgets and equipment ROI justifications.

Familiarity with IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001, ISO 9001, IATF 16949 or ISO 13485 standards.

Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
