Job summary
Intretech Malaysia is seeking an SMT Engineering Manager to lead our SMT/PCBA engineering operations, drive world-class manufacturing excellence, and support our global growth.
Ideal candidates have strong SMT process engineering and NPI experience in high-volume electronics manufacturing, with the ability to collaborate with production, process engineering, quality and maintenance teams to sustain production stability and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Mechatronics/ Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of SMT equipment engineering or maintenance experience; seniors welcome.
- Hands-on experience with SMT equipment from Fuji, Panasonic, Yamaha, Juki, ASM.
- Strong knowledge of SMT printers, SPI, P&P, reflow, AOI/AXI, wave soldering.
- Familiar with preventive/predictive maintenance and root-cause analysis.
Responsibilities
- Support daily SMT equipment operations to minimize downtime.
- Perform troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of SMT equipment.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and calibration to ensure machine reliability.
- Set up machines, feeders, changeovers and optimization for SMT equipment.
- Monitor OEE, downtime; implement improvements.
- Coordinate with suppliers and overseas teams for parts and support.
- Update maintenance documentation and SOPs.
